The venture capital firm Wilbe is organising a gathering for scientists and engineers who have already built or wish to build a deep-tech company. The event will take place on 10 April at 15:00 at the University of Tartu Museum (Lossi 25 Tartu).
Guest speakers will be scientist-founders who will share their experiences of creating and growing a deep-tech company: physicist Heli Valtna and engineer Markus Järve.

Wilbe Build Week is a seven-day intensive online programme for company creation and investment, designed for founding research-based start-ups. The programme is aimed at scientists and engineers working in artificial intelligence, robotics, hardware, biotechnology, chemistry, physics, materials science, climate technology, or health. During the programme, participants go through the build process, receive feedback and compete for a first-check investment. The Estonian Build Week will take place from 24 April to 1 May 2026, when the best teams may receive an initial investment of 125,000 USD. Wilbe will also support the further development of the company.
