Duties and responsibilities
- Lecturing and conducting seminars in the area of Mobility Modelling.
- Conducting research in the area of Mobility Modelling, Accessibility, Active Mobility, and/or Logistics at the international level.
- Supervising theses of Master’s and Bachelor’s students.
- Engaging in science outreach activities.
- Participation in the work of the university’s decision-making bodies is recommended.
Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
- A successful teaching experience in an institution of higher education at the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s levels is required.
- Research experience and publications in the area of Mobility Modelling or a related field are required.
- A track record of publications in highly reputable venues in the area of Mobility Modelling or a related field is desirable.
- Experience in supervising students is highly desirable.
Required language skills
Excellent command of the English language is required. Estonian is recommended but not required. According to the Language Act, academic staff with foreign citizenship working in Estonia must have acquired at least B1-level Estonian language skills after five years of work. This requirement will be added to the contract. The Centre for Professional Development offers foreigners and their family members the opportunity to participate in Estonian language courses.
Salary
From 3000 € / per month
