2. The programme consists of two on-site session days. During these days participants will explore the pedagogic/didactic purposes and utility of the Case-method of teaching as a student-activating method. In this process participants will also review other active-learning formats and how these support learning in conjunction with teaching with Cases, as well as the links to intended learning outcome and appropriate knowledge and skills levels.
Participants will also study the logic and the process of producing Case material appropriate for the discipline, knowledge and skills level and the intended learning outcomes.
During the interim period following the two session days participants will follow up with some readings and eventual conversations with colleagues within the hope department – possibly with student representatives – regarding implementation of the Case as method. Participants will also review their own material, based on their research and teaching
