University of Tartu students can stay active and exercise at the university sports hall at a reduced price. A semester pass costing just €50 provides a wide range of opportunities for physical activity throughout the semester.
“Great academic ability does not change the simple fact that the brain works better when the body is active. So walk, run, cycle, dance, exercise!” emphasised the rector of the university, Professor Toomas Asser, in his speech at the opening ceremony of the academic year.
The university offers students a variety of opportunities to stay active, many of which are available at the University of Tartu sports hall. Students can work out in the gym or athletics hall, take part in recreational training sessions, and join various ball games. This means that everyone can find a suitable way to spend time with fellow students and remain active during their studies.
A sports club semester pass costs University of Tartu students only €50.
More information about sporting opportunities is available on the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club website.
