On 26 November, the Vironia fraternity celebrates its 125th anniversary. On this occasion, the university’s main building is illuminated in violet, black and white.
Estonia’s oldest student organisation Vironia was established on 26 November 1900 in Riga to unite male students of Estonian origin. After Estonia gained independence, Vironia started operating in Tartu in 1920 and, in the second half of the 1930s, in Tallinn.
