Duties and responsibilities
The purpose of the position is to provide a high-quality support service to the scientific community in order to improve the effectiveness of research and development activities and its continuous promotion:
- advising researchers in writing funding applications for research projects;
- participation in writing applications;
- organization of trainings and information events on the preparation of financing applications;
- writing grant reports;
Required qualifications
At least Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
Required experience
- Previous exposure to European Union funding programs (Horizon, Interreg, Erasmus, Life)
- Experience in preparing funding applications
- Direct experience in conducting research or consulting
- Knowledge of the organization of research and development activities in Estonia and the European Union
- experience in writing grant reports
Required language skills
Very good spoken and written command of English.

Additional information The DigiBio project will create a research and technology platform for data-driven disruptive bioengineering solutions to accelerate translation of science to manufacturing of next-generation bioproducts. The platform relies on the generation and analysis of big data through integration of automated genome engineering, phenotype screening, high-throughput analytics, and informatics. The Estonian Biofoundry is a member of the Global Biofoundry Alliance.
