Orientation Course
Orientation Course for the new international degree-seeking and exchange students is designed to make the start of the university life as smooth as possible. You will find different sessions and events to help you settle better. See the Orientation Course photo gallery from August 2024.
Spring semester orientation course takes place on February 6-7 at Jakobi 2, room 226. Jakobi 2 building is right next to the university's main building. Further details about the orientation course will be provided in the end of January.
The details about the autumn semester information session for Ukrainian students will be sent directly via email.

University of Tartu symbol hunt: Snap & Win University of Tartu merch! We invite our international students to seek out the symbols representing the University of Tartu. The challenge is to find three symbols, take photos of them, and upload them to your Instagram account with the hashtag #utsymbolhunt. You can post them separately, in one post, or as a collage. Whether it’s university buildings, items with the logo, or anything else, get creative! It is up to you to decide if you want to be in the photo or not. Three winners who upload three photos by 20 September will be randomly selected to win a UT hoodie or Tiksu socks. Please make sure your Instagram profile is public during the contest.
