Cultural and Social Programme

While the academic course is broaden your knowledge and learning skills, the cultural programme offers a range of fun and engaging cultural activities, introducing you the Estonia and the opportunity to interact and network with other participants in a lively environment. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of day trips and events offered through the programmes and your experience in Tartu! 

The guided University of Tartu, museum visits and city tours, welcoming reception, closing event, international night and movie nights are available for all the participants for free. The city tours and Estonian National Museum visits and weekend trips are for an extra fee.

Street Art Tour

University of Tartu Main Building (historical auditorium, Assembly Hall) and guided tour to the Museum of Art (including visiting a student prison).

Estonian National Museum

Through the Estonian National Museum’s exhibitions and events, one can take a look at Estonians’ everyday lives in different periods.

Notebook factory

The Print and Paper Museum offers you a chance to make your own notebook for your studies, sketches and doodles.

UT students and staff can take courses on the popular learning platform Coursera

Until October 2022, all UT members can take one free Coursera course. Students can also use it towards the completion of their curriculum if they wish.
