Documents issued on graduation

On graduation, students completing their English bachelor's, master’s, professional higher education, integrated curriculum, or doctoral studies are exmatriculated and issued a diploma, a diploma supplement in Estonian (akadeemiline õiend) and a diploma supplement in English.

Students receive their diplomas at the graduation ceremony.

If you cannot attend the graduation ceremony

If it is not possible to attend the graduation ceremony, students can pick up the diploma at the Office of Academic Affairs: Jakobi 1, entrance from the courtyard of the UT main building, see the map, open Mon–Fri 9–12 and 13–16 (except for colleges outside Tartu). NB! An identification document needs to be presented to collect the diploma. If necessary, students may authorise another person to pick up the diploma. Acceptable forms of authorisation are, for example, digitally signed, scanned or photographed authorisation letters.

Exceptionally, the diploma can also be delivered to the student by registered mail for a fee (Estonia 8 EUR, abroad 15 EUR).

Optionally graduates can order a certified copy of the diploma by e-mail. Contact: diplom@ut.ee
