Scholarships for UniTartu Summer School 2025

1. Estonian National Scholarships at StudyinEstonia.ee.

Note that you will have to apply separately for the summer course and the scholarship.

2025 application period will be open from March 17th 2025 until April 16th (23:59, Estonian time).

Please send your application form and required documents to rvo.dokumendid@harno.ee (for application only). All questions should be directly addressed to senior programme officer Tiiu Tuisk.

Please note that you should fill in the course application form for UniTartu Summer School before applying for the scholarship. It is possible to apply for summer courses from 1 April 2025. Please contact isu@ut.ee separately to let us know you are applying for the scholarship. We will provide any necessary documents for you via email.

2. ENLIGHT scholarship

The University of Tartu offers 10 scholarships for students from ENLIGHT partner universities. The scholarship covers the course tuition fee, but does not cover any travel or accommodation costs.

Scholarships are available for the students (and teacher training lecturers) from University of the Basque Country, University of Bordeaux, Comenius University Bratislava, National University Ireland Galway, Ghent University, University of Göttingen, University of Groningen, Uppsala University, University of Bern and University of Tartu.

In order to apply for the scholarship please submit your application for the summer course and fill in a separate scholarship form.

3. Full tuition fee scholarship

The University of Tartu offers 3 full tuition waivers (scholarships) for motivated students. The scholarship can be used only to cover the course fee. Accommodation and daily expenses are not covered.

In 2025, the three scholarships offered by UniTartu Summer School are allocated to specific courses:

• One scholarship for the course "Patient-Centred Communication: Based on Motivational Interviewing"
• One scholarship for the course "Acute and Chronic Kidney Disease: Contemporary Diagnostic Techniques and Procedures"
• One scholarship for the course "Computational Immunology Summer School."

Each scholarship covers the full course fee for its respective programme. The selection process is going to be based on the motivation letter and the GPA. In order to apply for the scholarship, please submit your application to the summer course and fill out the separate scholarship form.

Are there any other options?

Short-term blended mobility for students under Erasmus+ Europe

NB! This does not apply to every course. Please contact your home university's International Office to find out if this applies to your university studies.

Erasmus+ mobility in higher education between Erasmus+ programme countries - students can participate in exchange studies or go for a traineeship in programme countries such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, Netherlands, Croatia, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Latvia, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, France, Republic of North-Macedonia, Sweden, Romania, Germany, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary. In some cases it is possible to join UniTartu Summer School with the Erasmus+ funding. For more information please contact your study institution.

Erasmus+ blended mobility is a short-term physical mobility combined with a virtual activity:

• 5-30 days of physical (on-site) mobility carried out abroad (studies or traineeship);
• Preceded or followed by the virtual part of the mobility carried out remotely;
• must award a minimum of 3 ECTS credits;
• can be carried out for studies or traineeship.
