Museum Night 2023: "Movement in the Night"

Programme of the University of Tartu Museum: 

At 21, performance of the early dance ensemble Saltatriculi, "The Hour of Ghosts on Toome Hill", in the cathedral ruins. 

At 22, bat tour on Toome Hill, led by a bat expert Lauri Lutsar. 

From 18–23, the cathedral towers are open. Admission with a €3 discount ticket. 

From 18–23, the exhibitions of the museum welcome visitors. 

In addition, throughout the evening, everyone can participate in the adventure game "Science Town", giving an opportunity to gain new knowledge and get to know Toome Hill. The game sheet can be picked up from the museum's ticket office, and there will be a small prize for everyone who completes the course.

Museum Night is an annual cultural event that takes place on a Saturday evening in May when dozens of museums and memory institutions across Estonia open their doors. The topic of this year's museum night, "Movement in the Night", was chosen mostly because 2023 is the Be Active Year in Estonia, which focuses on healthy lifestyle and movement habits.
