University of Tartu Rector’s Cup Golf Tournament 2016

The University of Tartu Rector invites all golfers who appreciate the beauty of the game to the traditional University of Tartu Rector’s Cup Golf Tournament, which takes place on 21 August 2016 at the Otepää Golf Center between the hills of South-Estonia. Players compete in individual class and, for the first time, also in the faculty competition. It is an open tournament and in addition to alumni, students and lecturers all competitive golf enthusiasts are welcome.

All players who have registered compete for the individual title. Only teams whose members represent one specific UT faculty can simultaneously participate in the individual competition as well as the team competition. The teams are drawn by the competition committee. The winner is the faculty which is represented by at least two teams and which receives the best score after the results are summed.

The participation fee includes everything you need for a great day of competing: green fee, cart, practice balls, dinner after the competition, sauna and towels. All golfers who have an active HCP and have paid the participation fee at registration are welcome to participate.

The day ends with dinner, awarding the best players and passing the travelling trophy in the golf center’s restaurant Mr Jakob. Prizes are awarded to the two best players of each class, the winning team of the faculty competition and winners of the special competitions.
