Art gallery in Physicum

Ave Mets's photo exhibition "Virvendus" will be on view at the Physicum Gallery (W, Ostwaldi 1, Tartu) from 8 January to 10 February 2026. The exhibition opens on 15 January at 17, and can be viewed on weekdays from 9 am to 18.
Ave Mets is a researcher in the philosophy of science at the University of Tartu, where she also obtained her higher education (PhD 2013). She has also conducted research for a longer period at the RWTH Aachen University of Technology in Germany (2009–2013), as an Erasmus Mundus scholar at the Belarusian State University in Minsk (2015–2016), and as a Fulbright scholar at Washington State University in Pullman (2022–2023). In 2023, she began her studies as a boatmaster at the Tartu branch of the Estonian Maritime School.
