On 16 May, the Estonian Doctoral School Career Conference will be held in Tallinn to discuss the value of doctoral studies and the career prospects of doctoral students. All Estonian doctoral students and those interested in doctoral studies are welcome to attend.

ENLIGHT is a network of ten European universities created in 2020. Promoting equitable quality of life, sustainability and global engagement through higher education transformation, the network offers various opportunities for students, professors, researchers, and staff members. The project focuses on six cross-cutting challenge domains: health and wellbeing, digitalisation, climate change, energy and circular economy, equity, and culture and creativity.
Visiting students (free movers) study at the University of Tartu independently, outside of any partnership agreement or exchange programme.

The industrial doctorate offers a unique opportunity for companies, universities and doctoral students to work together.
This year the graduation ceremony of the Institute of Education, University of Tartu, master's degree graduates will take place on June 19, 2024 at 15:00.
All students of the University of Tartu are invited to apply for the ENLIGHT Inclusion Award, which is set to debut at the Teaching and Learning Conference in Tartu on 7–9 October 2024. This year, the award acknowledges student projects and initiatives.
In the coming academic year, singer, pianist and composer Kadri Voorand will become the new Professor of Liberal Arts at the University of Tartu, with a lecture course focusing on life-changing creation. She will be succeeded by Peeter Jalakas, former professor and director, who will participate in a public discussion titled “Feeling and meaning” in the attic hall of Tartu Cathedral on the evening of 23 May.
