Purpose:
The objective of the curriculum is to support the professional development of people working in positions that involve teaching or advising/guiding teaching staff in order for them to successfully exploit the possibilities offered by educational technology for improving the learning process.
Target group:
School Teachers, University Lecturers, Entrepreneurs, Educational Developers, Educational Technologists, IT Specialists, Teacher Trainers
Outcome:
Graduates of the programme are expected to:
1) have a general overview about technology use in education;
2) have skills to explore how to meaningfully integrate technology into their own teaching practice;
3) have a general overview about problem-solving, inquiry-based learning, collaborative learning, and self-regulation and reflection;
4) have skills to analyze and plan for apt learning situations;
5) develop a reflective stance towards the complex issues related to the role of technology in education;
6) have a general overview of digital literacy (including information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, safety).
Starting conditions:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (must be obtained by the end of June) and at least 3 years professional experience in a teaching position or in a position in which teaching staff are supervised or advised. In cooperation with ESTDEV we can offer 8 scholarships for Georgian, Armenian and Moldovian citizens.

Learning environment:
Studies and teaching takes place in appropriate classrooms, which have the required teaching equipment and meet the health and safety requirements.

Requirements to complete:
Fulfillment of the curriculum, accomplishing positive result in all the courses and independent tasks.
