By paying the application fee, course fee and cultural events' fee you accept the terms and conditions below. You are expected to tick the box in the credit card payment form to confirm you have read and agree to the terms and conditions. You will be informed about the same conditions if you choose to pay by bank transfer. Please be informed that by paying the fees, you will be considered to have agreed to the Terms and Conditions, regardless to if you have read the terms or not.
The application fee payment is expected to be made in order to apply for the summer course. You application will be considered after the fee of EUR 25 has reached UT systems. The application fee is non-refundable, even if you will not be accepted to the course.
The application fee payment can be made by a credit card or bank transfer.
The course fees and cultural events' fees are indicated on University of Tartu International Summer University website. These prices are final. The course fee payment and cultural event fee payment can be made by a credit card or bank transfer.
Please note that the payment must be made by the deadline indicated on the invoice. The deadline is 20 days after the invoice has been sent. If the student fails to pay the fee by the deadline, he/she will no longer be considered as part of the course. In case the student needs to extend the payment deadline, he/she must present a written request for extension of payment deadline to ISU organization team.

This policy applies to course fee payments and cultural fee payments.
If you wish to cancel your participation, you must inform the programme director in writing via e-mail, fax or letter.
90% of the programme fee will be refunded if you cancel participation and apply for refund at least 30 days before the start of the programme.
If you inform of your cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the programme, no refund is made.
If the University of Tartu has to cancel the programme due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be informed of that within one week after the application deadline at the latest. We will fully refund the programme fee or offer a substitute programme. Please note that the university cannot take any responsibility for covering personal travel costs. Thus we recommend getting an insurance coverage.
The university reserves the right to claim the programme fee in accordance with the above-mentioned terms if you have received a Letter of Acceptance from the programme director and cancel the participation without a written notice.
NB! The same policy applies if you are forced to cancel because you did not receive a visa.
To apply for the refund, please send a written request with the relevant bank data via e-mail, fax or letter to the programme director.
Refund will be made to the person/institution who paid the programme fee.
Please note that the in case there are not enough participants for the course (exact minimum number of participants can be found on the course's webpage), the University of Tartu will have to cancel the course. In this case, you will receive a full refund.
