Duties and responsibilities
  • Development, teaching and compilation study materials in management subjects across all levels of higher education in Estonian and English languages. Courses taught: “Managerial Economics” (in Estonian) at the master's level; “Decision-making Patterns and Models in Management” (in Estonian) at the master's level; “Principles of Management” at the bachelor level; “Principles of Management and Teamwork” (in Estonian) at the bachelor level; “Management: Strategic analysis” (in Estonian and English) at the doctor’s level.
  • Supervising students’ theses in Estonian and English at the first two study levels.
  • Supervising and co-supervising doctoral theses.
  • Ability to take a part of RDC (research, development and creative) activities in field of applied economics, especially in the area of management studies under the supervision of a professor or associate professor.
  • Popularization of the specialization in Estonian and English language-based media spaces.
  • Professional development to enhance skills necessary for teaching, supervising and RDC activities.

Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience
  • Prior teaching experience in higher education institutions. Supervision experience, and online teaching of at least five years are preferred.
  • Internationally recognized research in management and/or managerial economics equivalent to at least 1 doctoral thesis in the last five years.
  • Ability to perform research projects, participation in the work of the international community in the specialization, working groups and networks. 

Required language skills
Very good knowledge of the Estonian and English language required for teaching, research and professional communication.
