Patent Attorney Adrien Renaudo speaks about changes in the European patent landscape

On 25 March, from 14:00 to 16:00, Patent Attorney Adrien Renaudo will speak about the changes and opportunities that await the founders of deep-tech companies. All interested are welcome.

In June 2023, the biggest change took place in the European patent landscape since 1973, when the European Patent Office was founded. Now, several decades later, the European Unitary Patent system has been introduced. Patent Attorney Adrien Renaudo outlines the new opportunities that the changes bring for deep-tech entrepreneurs. A brand new Court of Justice, the Unified Patent Court (UPC), was established to handle these new patents, among other activities.

The seminar aims to discuss what the Unitary Patent and the UPC actually change in terms of patent strategy. The seminar is held in English. Please register for the event.

Adrien Renaudo is a European Patent Attorney and representative before UPC from Käosaar IP Law Firm. He also holds a PhD in cell biology. Before moving to Estonia, he worked at Becker & Associés (Paris), one of the top French IP practices specialising in biotechnology, health technology and chemistry. Since 2018, he has been advising the University of Tartu spin-offs and researchers on their inventions, first as a technology transfer specialist at the university and now as an external consultant.
