Erasmus+ project Students as Digital Civic Engagers has completed a guide and a toolkit

Within Erasmus+ project Student as Digital Civic Engagers has been done extensive research on students’ digital civic engagement in partner countries and in the collaboration has been completed a Guide to Digital Civic Engagement which is available in 4 languages: English, German, Portugese and Estonian and The Student Digital Civic Engagers’ Toolkit as an innovative open resource which is at the moment available for free in 3 languages: English, German, and Estonian. Toolkit in Portuguese will be available soon.

Guide focuses on the conceptualisation of digital civic engagement in theoretical and empirical research and explores how digital civic engagement can be integrated on different levels of higher education (policy, teaching, and learning). It is a research-based resource for higher education managers who plan to implement digital civic engagement education into their organisation.

Moreover, it gives practical guidance for educators on how to integrate digital civic engagement into their teaching. The Guide to Digital Civic Engagement consists of the following chapters:

1. Definition of Digital Civic Engagement
2. Current State of Research and Relation to Digital Competences of Student Digital Civic Engagement
3. Policies on Student Digital Civic Engagement
4. Case Studies on Student Digital Civic Engagement
5. Innovative Pedagogic Strategies for Teaching of Digital Civic Engagement
