The specialisation of Science Education allows you to deal with problems related to science education both locally and internationally. Doctoral study Faculty of Social Sciences 240 ECTS 4 years Estonian, English Engineering and Technology The PhD programme in Engineering and Technology includes five specialisations: Computer Engineering, Sustainable Energetics, Environmental Technology, Materials Science and Molecular Biotechnology. The at-first-glance weakly related specialisations are united in their focus on applications and technologies. Moreover, the spanning of the programme over several institutes promotes interdisciplinarity. Doctoral study Faculty of Arts and Humanities 240 ECTS 4 years Estonian, English, Russian Life and Earth Sciences The PhD programme in Life and Earth Sciences is a multidisciplinary training programme for students interested in biodiversity and ecological sustainability, geography, geology, molecular biosciences, or genomics and seeing their future in the academy or as a top specialist in the public or private sector. Doctoral studies are research-oriented, and doctoral students usually work as junior researchers.
