• Teaching, using modern teaching methods and educational technology, at all levels of higher education.
• Teaching molecular biology workshops, seminars and lectures.
• Supervising students at the first two levels of higher education.

• Previous teaching experience (in molecular biology, genetic engineering and similar disciplines) at the first and second level of higher education.
• Previous experience in supervising students at the first and second level of higher education.
• Previous teaching experience in e-courses.
• Knowledge of modern teaching aids, learning environments, teaching methods and their development opportunities.
• International-level research in the specialisation, the volume of which is equivalent to at least one doctoral thesis.

A candidate can be required to submit the original or a certified copy of the document (including its annexes) showing the candidate to hold the required qualification. If the candidate has acquired the higher education in question abroad, he or she may be required to submit an assessment issued by the Academic Recognition Information Centre (the Estonian ENIC/NARIC) of his or her qualification in respect of the qualification requirements for the position.
