Purpose:
The course continues to develop the students' knowledge of Estonian language from the waystage to the threshold level. The course focuses on developing all four skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking), enhancing vocabulary and improving grammar.
Target group:
Foreign students
Outcome:
Upon completing the course, the student:
1. speaks about Estonian symbols, people, places, nature and traditions;
2. puts together a travel plan and finds information from the internet;
3. explains/justifies their points of view;
4. holds a conversation on various everyday topics (e.g. healthy living, home, travelling, appearances etc).

The course ends with a non-graded test
Grading criteria:
Passing the course requires completing the final test with the result of at least 51%
