Applying under the Erasmus+ program for the ENLIGHT Summer School course "Serious Game Design in Health Care and Education" has started   

Uppsala University invites UT master´s students to take part in the course “Serious Game Design in Health Care and Education” within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. Online part of the course takes place from 1 to 7 August and face-to-face learning at Uppsala University from 8 to 19 August.  

The course provides knowledge on innovative processes and innovative thinking as a tool to solve real-life problems in interdisciplinary teams. With practical applications of "serious games", the focus is on creating solutions that can promote changes in health care and encourage healthy lifestyles. Game design will also be used as an educational tool to improve critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. At the end of the course, the groups will present their ideas and possible solutions to invited experts. 

The summer school course is a Erasmus+ embedded intensive programm (BIP), which combines innovative teaching and learning methods, including online teamwork. Online studies take place from 1 to 8 August and face-to-face learning at Uppsala University from 9 to 19 August. Completion of the course gives the student 5 ECTS. 

Participating students must have acquired English language proficiency at C1 level. Application to the summer school is open until 17 April. The selected students will be announced by 25 April.  

Erasmus+ blended mobility application should be submitted via SoleMOVE system.

The summer school takes place in the framework of the ENLIGHT project and welcomes students from all nine partner universities of ENLIGHT.   1. Select University of Tartu as your home university from the list
  2. Log into the system by using your UT credentials
  3. From the menu at left side bar, choose "Application form for short student mobility"
  4. Click "new" to start creating an application
  5. Choose “Study" for the type of mobility
  6. Select application period (competition call) from the list: „Blended Intensive Program (BIP)“
  7. Click "save" to save the draft and start filling out the application. 

Start filling the application from the second tab (exchange study information), not from the first (personal data). It is important because choosing the study abroad exchange program under defines the fields of the application template accordingly. Once the study abroad exchange program has been selected, the application template gets changed, before that it is displayed as general template.
