Why did you choose to study this programme?

Since high school, I was never completely sure which career path I wanted to pursue. However, I knew that I wanted it to allow me to explore different opportunities and develop a broad range of skills; that is what attracted me to Business Administration. Before applying, I researched the programme and was interested in the combination of managerial and financial subjects. I enjoy working with people and understanding how businesses operate, but I am also interested in the analytical side of operations and enjoy working with numbers. The program offered a balance of both; that’s why it stood out for me. What I appreciate most about my studies is the diversity: in terms of studies, development opportunities, and, of course, people. Since the first day, I have been surrounded by ambitious, inspired, and fun people who want to make the world a better place with their great ideas. Although I am only in my second year of studies, the program has helped me understand which areas of business are not the right fit for me and which I would like to explore and pursue in the future.

Why Estonia?

The first time I heard about the University of Tartu was from my parents after their trip to Tartu. They walked around the city, toured the university's buildings, and said that it would be amazing if I could experience university life in Tartu. After that, I started looking into it and found out that in addition to being a beautiful, cozy town, Tartu is a place that combines academic excellence and student life. It inspired me, and since I arrived in Tartu, I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing people, culture, and variety of activities for students to enjoy. The international community, supportive atmosphere, innovative environment-Tartu has it all.
