Duties and responsibilities
- Participation in the research, development and creative activities under the supervision of a professor or associate professor.
- International-level research in the volume equivalent to at least 1.5 doctoral theses in five years.
- Development of skills necessary for research, development and creative activities, and professional development.
- Teaching, using modern teaching methods and educational technology, primarily supervising students of the first and second level of higher education.
- Professional development to enhance teaching and supervising skills.
- Popularising the area of the specialisation.
- Research on molecular medicine, big data analysis (including high-throughput DNA sequencing data).
Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
- Ability to participate in the research, development and creative activities within the area of the specialisation.
- International-level research in the field of specialisation, with a volume equivalent to at least one doctoral thesis so far.
- Knowledge and laboratory skills in nanomedicine.
- Proven skills of phage display and big data analysis.
- Experience in phage display and data analysis.
Required language skills
Very good knowledge of Estonian in speech and writing. The candidate’s English skills must be sufficient for communication and writing in his or her specialty.
