University of Tartu invites to winter school on artificial intelligence

The University of Tartu invites master's students of ENLIGHT network who are not students of IT to take part in the winter school "Artificial intelligence for non-IT students" taking place from February to April 2022.

Lecturers from different ENLIGHT universities will discuss artificial intelligence (AI) and the key concepts associated with it. The students will understand the principles of statistical data processing, machine learning techniques, methods of AI deep learning and the ability to create data analytics chains. The students will get an overview of the application of IT in everyday life.

The winter school takes place in blended format, using innovative ways of learning and teaching, including online cooperation. The learning process builds on real-life challenges and uses peer learning methods.

The online learning period takes place from 21 February to 17 April and the face-to-face learning period at the University of Tartu from 25 to 29 April 2022. Completing the course gives the student 6 ECTS; participation in the course is free of charge.

The artificial intelligence winter school takes place in the framework of the ENLIGHT project and welcomes students from all nine partner universities of ENLIGHT. Five students from each university will be selected to participate.

Application to the winter school is open until 31 January 2022. The selected students will be announced by 5 February 2022.
