Condolences on the tragic events in Charles University in Prague

"On behalf of the University of Tartu community, I am expressing our deep sadness and shock over the tragic events at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and extend our solidarity and support in this most difficult of situations. The mind refuses to believe that something so terrible could happen at a university, a place dedicated to peaceful self-reflection and spiritual growth. Our hearts go out to the victims’ grieving families and loved ones, as well as to those who are fighting for their lives in hospitals."
