Conference on crossing or extending the boundaries

On 9 November at 9.00 a.m in Lossi 3 the Department of English and Centre for Canadian Studies will hold The Seventh International Tartu Conference on Canadian Studies “Transnationalism, Transculturation, Transmediation, Translation: Canadian and Comparative Contexts.”

The conference focuses on the issues concerned with crossing or extending the boundaries of nations, cultures, communities, selves, traditions, genres, media, languages, and discourses as well as with the spaces, environments and narratives that people create or which influence them.
