• Lecturing and conducting seminars in  Distributed Systems, Mobile and Cloud Computing, Internet of things, and Web services at all levels of higher education. 
• Conducting independent research at the international level in the field of Distributed Systems.
• Publishing in reputable scientific venues.
• Applying and leading R&D projects.
• Supervising MSc and PhD students.
• Performing at least one managerial task at the university is recommended.
• Participation in activities related to the promotion and implementation of the area in Estonia and at the international level.

• Teaching experience at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels is required, including successful supervision of Master’s or PhD students.
• Research experience and publications in the area of specialization are essential. 
• A track record of publications in highly reputable venues in the area of specialization or a related field is desirable. 
• Success in applying for research funding and managing or performing contracts concerned with R&D activities in the past five years.
• A solid international network activities are considered advantageous.
• Experience in supervising students; and at least one successful PhD supervision is desirable.

5. A statement not exceeding 1500 words of the aims to be achieved during the term in the position, and the outline of an action plan for achieving these.

Salary is from 3750 euros (gross) per month depending on work experience and qualifications. The total annual payroll starts from 60 000 euros, including taxes by the employer.
