The University of Tartu has opened applications for its UniTartu Summer School 2026, inviting international students, young professionals, and lifelong learners to take part in the programme from 27 July to 7 August in Tartu and Viljandi, Estonia.

The summer school offers 12 English-taught courses in science and technology, social sciences, and arts and humanities. Participants can explore a wide range of topics, including data engineering, synthetic biology, neuromarketing, entrepreneurship in creative industries, and contemporary cultural studies.

The application period runs from 20 March to 20 April 2026. Applications can be submitted through an online registration form. Applicants who apply before 26 March are eligible for a 10% early-bird discount on the course fee.

The course fee includes academic instruction, study materials, a certificate of completion, and selected cultural activities. In addition, participants will have access to a social and cultural programme introducing Tartu and Estonia.

Several scholarship opportunities are available, including 10 ENLIGHT scholarships and four tuition fee waivers for selected applicants.

Course fees range from €450 to €800, depending on the selected course.

Each year, UniTartu Summer School brings together participants from diverse countries and disciplines, offering an international learning experience and opportunities to build academic and professional networks.
