This year’s mentoring programme ended on 19 February, with more than 150 mentoring pairs taking part. The participants included alumni, students and staff members.

The students who took part said that the programme was a very valuable experience for them. “I feel I received all the answers I need at this stage of life. I certainly wish that every student could complete such a programme,” a participant said in the feedback.

According to alumni, the programme supports the development of both the mentor and the mentee. “The programme was an enriching experience that helped me understand myself better and recognise my value and strengths. The experiences and knowledge gained through the mentoring programme have also had a very positive impact on my life outside the programme.”

The programme started with an opening seminar on 8 October. Throughout the semester, the mentoring pairs met, and seminars and reflective group sessions were offered to both mentors and mentees.

For the first time, participants who completed the mentoring programme this year also received a continuing education certificate, which enabled them to earn credits. To get the certificate, they needed to reflect on their meetings, write brief summaries, analyse their self-development and attend at least two seminars.

Organised since 2017, the mentoring programme brings together successful alumni, staff members and active students, including international students. During the programme, experienced experts have the opportunity to share practical advice with motivated students, help them set goals and support them in finding their own path.
