Scientific Advisory Board

On 20 March 2020, at the start of the corona pandemic in Estonia, the Government Committee on the emergency situation convened a Scientific Advisory Board. The board collects and analyses expert information on coronavirus and advises the government. Risk level indicators and codes of conduct for every risk level have been established based on the recommendations of the Scientific Advisory Board. The board's role is an advisory one; the government decides on restrictions. The work of the Scientific Advisory Board is coordinated by the Government Office.
