On this page you can find country-specific requirements for submitting your education documents. Applicants to PhD level programmes must submit their bachelor´s and master´s documents (certificates and transcripts). The following requirements apply to documents acquired at both levels.
When sending documents by post, applicants must ask their previous educational institution to send the official copy of their diploma and Transcript of Records directly to the University of Tartu in a sealed envelope. This applies to bachelor´s and master´s documents issued by higher education institutions in Bangladesh.
All applicants from Canada must ask their Transcript of Records from their previous educational institution and have it sent directly to the University of Tartu in a sealed envelope.

This applies to bachelor´s and master´s documents issued by higher education institutions in India.
Degree certificates must be awarded by the University and not the College.
Official translations into English must be made at a Translation Office accredited by Ministry of Justice.

Applicants to PhD programmes must have the copies of educational documents certified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). This applies to copies of bachelor´s and master´s documents issued by higher education institutions in Pakistan.
When sending documents by post you must arrange the official transcript of records to be sent in a sealed envelope directly from your previous educational institution to the University of Tartu. This applies to bachelor´s and master´s documents issued by higher education institutions in South-Korea.
All applicants from the USA must order their official transcript to be sent from the previous education institution they attended and have it mailed to the University of Tartu in a sealed envelope.
Alternatively, the transcript can be sent to the University of Tartu's admission office (to phdadmissions@ut.ee) via an official online verification system if this is available.
