The University of Tartu invites students to participate in UniTartu Summer School, which will take place this year from 27 July to 2 August. The program is diverse, offering 13 courses along with a cultural program. The summer school provides an opportunity to gain new academic insight and expand one’s international network.
The University of Tartu Summer University offers 13 high-level courses in English on a variety of topics, including Ukrainian folklore, information disorders, data engineering, and much more. Most of the courses will be held in Tartu, but students will also have the opportunity to participate in the cultural program and other activities to get to know the city of Tartu and fellow summer school students.
Applications for the summer university are open until 20 April 2026. To apply, applicants must submit a transcript of academic records, a copy of their passport, a motivation letter, a completed application form, and proof of payment of the application fee. The application fee is €25. Admission decisions will be sent by 30 April.
The University of Tartu also offers scholarships for 14 students, which can be used to cover the course fee. Instructions for applying for the scholarship can be found on the summer school website. A 10% discount on the course fee applies if applying before 26 March.
