Teaching staff of the University of Tartu are encouraged to nominate their course for the ENLIGHT Teaching and Learning Award 2024, which will be presented at the annual Teaching and Learning Conference held in Tartu from 7 to 9 October. The central theme of this year’s conference will be innovation and creativity in higher education.

The fourth ENLIGHT Teaching and Learning Conference will take place at the University of Tartu from 7 to 9 October 2024. The conference theme is Innovation and Creativity in Higher Education.

The workshop will focus on the use of microsatellites in planetary and astrobiology research, as well as the exploration of various space targets.

ENLIGHT invites participants to an online lecture on 14 February at 16:00 where four experts dissect the profound implications of harmonising energy use and the circular economy to envision a more sustainable and resilient future.  

The students from the University of Tartu are invited to participate in ENLIGHT’s spring edition of the ENLIVE project organised by the University of Bordeaux. The online sessions will take place from 11 March to 14 April 2025. 

The Bachelor’s Degree Ceremony of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities takes place on Thursday, 17 June, at 14.00 in the University of Tartu assembly hall (Ülikooli 18).

Master’s degree ceremony of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities takes place on Thursday, 20 June at 13.00 in the University of Tartu assembly hall (Ülikooli 18).

In the upcoming spring semester, for the first time, an elective course titled “Research based Entrepreneurship” will be offered specifically for doctoral students. The course aims to provide doctoral students with basic knowledge of entrepreneurship. Doctoral students from all programmes are welcome, regardless of whether they have a specific idea to focus on for business development during the course or not.
