At the end of May, a compilation of articles entitled "Higher Education at a Crossroad: the Case of Estonia" was published. The compilation is based on studies of the field of higher education conducted recently, touching upon a wide range of subjects, from the formation of higher education politics, to studying, teaching, and entering the job market.
It is the first compilation of higher education studies of its kind, as it gathers scientific articles written in English by various Estonian researchers. Many articles published in the compilation are scientific publications of research work included in doctoral dissertations that have already been defended or are set for defence. The compilation is edited by Professors Ellu Saar and René Mõttus.
The compilation will be presented on 17 June at 7:45 PM in Swissôtell Tallinn. The presentation is a part of the international congress "Quality Renaissance - Co-creating a Viable Future".
The book will soon be available to loan from larger libraries. Anyone interested can acquire the book through the Peter Lang Publishing Group’s homepage.
Publication of the compilation was supported by the Primus Programme of the Archimedes Project, financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund.
