ENLIGHT Scholarship

ENLIGHT is a European University formed by nine comprehensive, research-intensive universities from nine European countries (Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden), training over 300,000 learners per year and sharing a deep commitment to their social responsibility.

The University of Tartu offers 10 scholarships for students from ENLIGHT partner universities. Scholarships are available for the students (and teacher training lecturers) from:

• University of the Basque Country
• University of Bordeaux
• Comenius University Bratislava
• National University Ireland Galway
• Ghent University
• University of Göttingen
• University of Groningen
• Uppsala University
• University of Bern
• University of Tartu

The scholarship covers the tuition fee for one of the courses of University of Tartu Summer University 2023. Accommodation and transportation costs are not included. The students is responsible for their travel to and in Estonia as well as housing costs. 

 

Application period:
15 January 2023 - 30 April 2024

 

Requirements for applying: 

1. The student must fill in the scholarship application form and present all the document necessary by the end of the application period. 
2. Motivational letter of maximum 1 page 
3. Transcript of academic records (must include GPA)
4. The applicant must be a current degree student (BA,MA) in one of the ENLIGHT universities. 
5. The student must have filled in the course registration form. 

 

NB! Please note that you can apply for more than one scholarship, but you cannot be awarded with more than one scholarship. That means, if you apply for Estonian National Scholarship and/or ENLIGHT scholarship and for the partial tuition and you will be informed about being awarded to more than one, you must choose which scholarship you would like to participate with. If you have already made a payment by the time of the announcement, you will receive a refund according to the amount of the scholarship and course fee payment plan.
