Open Doors Day 2026 will take place on 26 February 2026 in Tartu, Estonia. We welcome all future bachelor's and medical students to join the event!
You will have an excellent opportunity to learn more about our degree programmes and the admission process, get answers to your questions, explore our campus with guided tours, and participate in the vibrant study fair.

*This event is primarily designed for prospective bachelor's students, but we warmly welcome future master's students, too. If you're interested in a specific programme, please email us at anna.branets@ut.ee. We'll be happy to arrange a personalised information session for you.
*If you require an entry visa to visit Estonia, please be aware that it is your responsibility to obtain the necessary visa. We do not provide visa invitation letters for attending our Open Doors Day event.

The University of Tartu offers a variety of residence halls across three cities: Tartu, Viljandi, and Narva. You can explore the details of each dormitory, including pricing, and view pictures at the following link.
When you are in Tartu, you can visit the University of Tartu's museums: the University of Tartu Art Museum, the Old Observatory, the University of Tartu Museum and the Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden.
To make your travel as smooth as possible, we are offering free bus service within Estonia for participants travelling to Tartu and back during the Open Doors Day. Free buses will be available from Tallinn, Viljandi, Pärnu, Narva, Sillamäe, Jõhvi, and Kohtla-Järve to Tartu and back. The registration will open in January 2026.

Come student shadowing and discover what your future would look like as a student at the University of Tartu! Student shadowing allows a prospective student to spend one day together with a university student who are interested in the same field to get an idea of student life at the university, the field of study and the University of Tartu.
