Training for academic staff

The purpose of supporting the professional development of academic staff is to ensure the high quality of teaching at the university. The development of teaching and instruction skills at the University of Tartu is based on the good practice of teaching (for example, learning-centred approach, scientific way of thinking, cooperation).

Training is offered regularly, and it includes both longer courses to develop teaching and instruction skills, as well as shorter seminars and workshops. The training sessions provide fresh teaching ideas for both novice lecturers and more experienced colleagues.

For more information about internal training courses, see the SIS internal training calendar
Lunches with e-learning
