From the University of Tartu, 110 students and 205 staff members signed up for the step challenge that took place from 1 to 31 October.

The University of Tartu’s men’s eight team won the gold medal at the European University Rowing Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

In June 2025, the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club conducted a survey on the physical activity habits of the university community.

All students, staff and alumni of the University of Tartu are invited to respond to a physical activity survey of the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club until 20 June.

As many as 248 students and 231 staff members signed up for the step challenge that took place from 1 to 30 April.

On 16 April, despite the rainy weather, the third University of Tartu Spring Run took place, with over 700 participants reaching the finish line.

From 31 January to 2 February, the 9th edition of the traditional Student Winter Games took place in Kääriku.

In total, 176 students and 111 staff members of the University of Tartu registered to participate in the challenge from 1 to 30 April. During the month, they took nearly 49 million steps.

FitSphere invites students and staff to join the step challenge Spring Steps 2024 to promote regular physical activity. The challenge runs from 1 to 30 April and is free for everyone.

From 2 October to 5 November, all University of Tartu employees, students, alumni, their families and all others interested are welcome to complete the orienteering course and reconnect with the varied history of Toome Hill.
