For the first time in the history of the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club, the club’s men's eight secured first place at the Estonian Rowing Championships at the Aidu water sports centre.

In recent years, the University of Tartu has set itself the goal of promoting wellbeing through physical activity and sport. Sports competitions, daily opportunities for physical activity, and traditional community events are organised for both students and staff.

KuupKulgur, an Estonian lunar rover platform co-developed by Tartu Observatory and MTÜ KuupKulgur, reached a significant milestone in Estonia’s space robotics journey when it recently became the first Estonian-developed rover platform to operate at the unique lunar replica site, the ESA-DLR LUNA facility in Cologne, Germany.
