Erasmus+ programme

Erasmus+ is the EU programme to support education, training, youth development and sport. It provides opportunities to study, undergo traineeship or apprenticeship abroad as well as exchange employees in all areas of education, training, youth and sport. This programme is open to school and university students, learners in vocational education, adult learners, people involved in youth exchange, youth workers and sports trainers. As an university student you can participate in:

  • Erasmus+ Europe between program countries: semester studies at partner university, traineeship, short-term blended mobility.
  • Erasmus+ International with countries outside the program: semester studies at partner university, traineeship.

Erasmus+ programme values environmentally responsible behavior, the use of digital learning and working tools, participation in democratic life, diversity and the inclusion of various (including underrepresented) target groups.

John and Mari-Ann have both studied abroad with the Erasmus+ program. Erasmus+ charter

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities a higher education institution may carry out within Erasmus+. The award of an ECHE is a pre-requisite for all higher education institutions located in a programme country and willing to participate in learning mobility of individuals and/or cooperation for innovation and good practices under Erasmus+.
